A stormwater retention basin in a Kentucky stone quarry had accumulated sediment and needed to be cleaned to restore the storage capacity during rain events. In a two week time period a dredge filled 1,100 linear ft of Geotube® with the chemically conditioned sediment. The dewatered material reached 85% dry wt solids at completion of the project.
