#279 Dewatering Residuals at a Coal Fired Power Plant

This coal fired electric power plant in Minnesota had a sediment pond full of solids and in need of dredging. The landfill nearby was closing and they needed to dewater and transfer the residual quickly. Geotextile tube dewatering technology was tested and selected by facility managers for its low cost, high volume, and quick drydown of the residual.
