#337 Cleaning Sand Mine Wash Water With Geotextile Tube Containers

This new sand mine in Missouri chose a Geotextile dewatering system to remove the solids from the wash water so the water could be recycled through the plant. The Geotextile tube containers offered the most cost-effective process to clean the 5,000-GPM flow coming from the plant. Solids were captured in the tubes and the water returned to a 2-acre pond for recycling through the plant to wash the sand clean.
